Research scientists have recently discovered the enormity of the bite of Tyrannosaurus rex, and has been published in the journal Biology Letters.Dr. Karl Bates of the biomechanics laboratory, University of Liverpool, who led the study with colleague, Peter Falkingham at the University of Manchester. They use research methods by means of digital simulation.

"We have to digitize the skull with a laser scanner, so we have a 3-D model of the skull susnan into the computer," explains Dr. Bates said, adding, "that way, we can map the movement of muscles T. rex skull."

The result?"We found a T. rex bite the maximum pressure is between 30,000 and 60,000 Newton," he explained further.
[Note: Previously, the researchers estimated the bite force of T. rex is only 8000-13000 Newton. Means that there are significant developments with the new findings].
Elephants in the bosom of
"That's the equivalent of an elephant sitting on your size," said Dr. Bates again. Yes, just imagine the grip of T. rex teeth when they bite as well as we suddenly occupied by an elephant.

Amazingly, according to Dr. Bates, the bite force is changed while the animals grow (get older). Thus, the researcher concludes, "These animals are very extreme - one of the largest carnivore that ever lived."
